Break on Through

Over three years ago, there was friendship. Emails were a good start. Then lyrics. I don't know how, or when, but the phone calls happened. Minutes grew into hours. If Bangalore is a city of one-way streets, it was fitting that an expat was alone in his emotions. Things changed, life chugged along and the feelings were mutual.

Two years. The distance. The heartbreak. The unbridled joy. All that time. All the singing. The silly fights. The intense ones. Soul-searching. Happiness and some more of it. Support. Ego-boost.

The plans, the ambitions, the countdown. The culmination of every grand desire.

She said yes.

@Bird - Thanks. I made it! I can't comment on your blog these days. What's up?

@ HG - Hello and Thanks!

@Pera - Thanks. It was low key. Home, home cooked lunch, on one knee and all that.

@Rassles - Thanks!
